California Auto Accident Driving News - These are not new driving laws for 2009 despite all evidence to the contrary on our roads in Palm Springs, our streets in Palm Desert and our California freeways. 1. Using turn signals before changing lanes is no longer required. Wrong. Still required in Palm Springs and throughout California. 2. Maximum speed limits have all been changed to allow you to drive however fast you want to. Wrong. There are still speed limits in Palm Springs and all of California. 3. Its fine to let other drivers know what you think of their driving by flipping them off. Wrong. Road rage is still not permitted in Palm Springs or anywhere in California. 4. When traveling faster than other traffic, roar up on a driver’s tail so you are inches away before passing them. Wrong. This leads to accidents in Palm Desert and everywhere in California. 5. Whenever there is an accident on a Palm Springs street or California freeway, you must travel no faster than two miles per hour in order to allow you sufficient time to gawk. Wrong. 6. Any time you see a police officer giving another motorist a ticket in California, be sure to slow down to five miles per hour to allow yourself sufficient time to look at the poor sod who got a ticket and be thankful it wasn’t you. Wrong.

California Car Accident News - This is the Latest Top Ten Things People Ask The Police After A Car Accident in Palm Springs or anywhere in the Coachella Valley or wherever you live in Southern California. The police may not grant any of these wishes but you can go ahead and ask anyway, if you feel lucky.  We don't recommend asking any of these things but these are, we believe, some things that people ask: 1. Can I use your taser on the other driver, pleeeeeeese? 2. Is there any special citation you can throw at him? Could you make up one? 3. Can you tow his car away too, like maybe to Orange County or San Diego? 4. Could you maybe tell him he’s going to jail in Victorville or maybe Oxnard? Could I? 5. How about we drag him before a judge in Oceanside or Temecula? Does that sound good to you? 6. Could we at least handcuff him to a light post, maybe somewhere in Palm Desert? 7. Can we take his keys away so he doesn’t hurt anyone else in the Coachella Valley today? 8. How about taking his license away? 9. Is there a law against calling his insurance company and telling them a few things about the driver they insure? 10. If you were to say, go have a coffee and leave your taser here, do you think it’s possible he could, you know, get jolted by mistake or something?

    - If after asking any of these things, you get thrown in the slammer, don't mention The Law Offices of R. Sebastian Gibson. Just call us for all your Personal Injury needs in Palm Springs and throughout the Coachella Valley and all of Southern California.<
